UPS Arriving Today!

I ordered a couple of charm packs of Jenn Ski’s ‘Ten Little Things‘ and some Bella solids from FatQuarterShop earlier this week, and they’re out for delivery today!  It’s going to be a gift for a new (surprise) baby for a good friend, and I can’t wait to get started!

I also ordered some white Bella Solid yardage for few other projects I’d like to get started as well.  I have 112 charms waiting in the wings, and another 56 I’ll be receiving soonish from the third charm swap I joined.  Those will be 2 or 3 projects themselves.  I also have some Moda Bliss fabric in a bag waiting on me to figure out how I’m going to use it.

On Saturday I’m heading out to a shop with my quilting partner-in-crime Gretchen because they’re closing up shop and moving (closer to me!).  They’re in the beginning phase of their ‘everything must go’ sale, so I may pick up some more fabric that I just can’t live without – you know how that goes!

That’s 5 or so new projects I can’t wait to start.  I wonder when I’ll get around to actually finishing the 3 that are just waiting for me to finish the binding (2 of them actually have the binding sewn on one side – I just need to decide if I’m going to hand sew or machine sew in on the other side).

Have I mentioned that I’m a project starter, but not necessarily a project finisher?

About msminnesota

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler'). I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!). This little blog is my way of chronicling my quilting adventures. Occasionally I post about non-quilting things as well. Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to say HI! IG: wannabequilter
