I’m sorting my 5″ Charms into ‘his’ and ‘hers’ piles so I can start working on the iSpy quilts for the kids for the camper. Does it count as a WIP if I’m just in the sorting stage? Sure…why not?
I’ve participated in a few charm swaps so far, and I know I already have enough squares for 1 quilt for Blue and 1 quilt for Pink.
Tonight I’m going to press and cut a bunch of the white for the sashing.
I’m going to use this pattern that I discovered on Carla’s Blog (Lollyquiltz). Her original pattern was for 4″ blocks, and thankfully she added cutting instructions for 5″ blocks so I didn’t have to do the math!
Happy W-I-P Wednesday, everyone!
Oh, by the way…I dropped off the 10 Little Things quilt at the quilter’s ‘shop’ last night. She said she should have it done around the end of May – she does a lot of stuff for the high school around this time of year. She only meanders, nothing too fancy. She also does it on a regular machine – not on a long arm machine. I don’t care how she does it, I’m just glad she does! Hopefully I’ll have the gift ready to give in mid-June!
