To the quilter, that is! Finally, the iSpy quilts for The Blue One and The Pink One are in the queue at the quilter’s! I had hoped that the kids would be able to use them in the camper this summer, but summer is quickly winding to a close, and unless we camp into September, that’s just not going to happen this summer.
The back of The Pink One’s quilt came out a little wonky….not quite square. But I think with the overage of fabric I have for the back that I should be A-OK and Lucy should be able to load it just fine into the frame.
‘Hey mom, what’s up??’
More Longarm
On Monday, Gret & I went and quilted our Quilts of Valor quilts for our 2nd long arm quilt machine lesson. I followed a pantograph and Gret used the compuquilter. Here are a couple of pics of me in action:
My view most of the day.
A finished section. My loops could be a little more fluid, but I’m proud of my stars!
I’m just a little jealous – Gret is going back on Wednesday in hopes of completing TWO on the compuquilter. She’s sewing her zippers on today so she’s ready to go for Wednesday.
My big finish this week…the 10 Little Things quilt. Here’s a peek,
will post a picture of completed quilt at a later date.
What I’m working on now…
