Here it is – the finished Chevron quilt (Terry Atkinson’s Tortilla Strips):
The finished size is 60×75. It’s going to be a great quilt to snuggle under sitting on the couch. The batting is wool (my first one).
I’m once again resurrecting my project list:
To Be Quilted:
Fire Escape Quilt – it’s a Christmas gift
Halloween Swoon block – can’t decide if this will be a wall hanging or a centerpiece.
On The Back Burner:
Reunion – Cluck Cluck Sew’s Inside Out pattern.
(This is going to take a lot longer than I had originally thought!)
I haven’t touched this since the summer!
Lucy’s Crab Shack in Cluck Cluck Sew’s Plus pattern.
Probably not ‘next up’ any longer. Once I get back to the Reunion quilt, I’m not going to want to jump right back in and do the reverse of the Inside Out pattern right away.
Somewhere down the line:
Table runners/coasters for the living room tables. Maybe not. These are currently WIPs and I quickly fell out of love with them.
Mug rug for my desk Done! (And one for Nichole, too!)
Bliss quilt…I still have no clue what pattern
A Christmas Quilt
A Halloween Quilt
A second Project Linus quilt. I’m cutting the FQs today. I think I’ll work on it at the quilt retreat in Feb.
And many, many more!
Wow! Those are beautiful!!! You inspire me! I have nominated you for a Liebster Award. You can check it out at http://simplydelighting.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/liebster-award-2/.
You couldn’t have done a better job selecting fabric for this quilt. I love it!
Thank you! I had been wanting to use Chevrons for like forever and I thought this would be a great project for them. I absolutely love how it turned out! I’m very proud of this quilt.
Hello! I’ve really enjoyed looking through your blog, so I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award. See my block for more details! http://basildonkitchens.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/liebster-award/
I’m loving all your quilts! I am SUCH a Terry Atkinson fan! I have taught Fire Escape and Matchstick Marima (from Allegro book) a couple of times. would love to meet her..her patterns fit my brain! lol
Hi Beth! I recently (mostly) finished Fire Escape. I’m contemplating adding a border, that’s why it’s only mostly finished. It was neat to be able to walk through a block with Terry.
