Triangle Quilt Along Progress

I spent almost the entire day with Bunny, and I made great progress!

Untitled

I have 11 of my 12 rows sewn together and I’m feeling pretty good about that.  The reason I don’t have my 12th one done is because I’m going to be adding additional rows and I wanted to be able to move things around in the adjacent row. I will be adding at least two rows, and and I’m going to add at least two more triangles to each row.  After that point I’ll reassess and decide if I’m good with the size, or if I need to add more.  I have a second set of FQs so I have plenty to work with for additional length & width.

I was hoping to get caught up on my other two BOMs that I’m participating in, but that just didn’t happen today.  I’m OK with it though – I made great progress today and I feel great about that.

About msminnesota

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler'). I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!). This little blog is my way of chronicling my quilting adventures. Occasionally I post about non-quilting things as well. Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to say HI! IG: wannabequilter

I love your colour combo!, I have 11 of my 12 rows together tonight too and decide that was enough for today, I added extra width to mine, and am thinking about maybe I should in the length too

I wanted something big enough to see the fun prints in these, and I think the triangles are perfect for it. I’m happy with the way it looks so far! Thanks for stopping by!

Very nice colors. I love the purple and teal especially, but the green and the grey lighten everything up nicely. Good work!

Thanks! I just finished laying out rows 13-16. Next I need to add to the length then I’ll be ready to start sewing the rows together. I’ll be honest and say that I’m not looking forward to that part! 🙂
