I’ve been working on my Triangle Quilt Along for the past few weeks and I really needed a change of scenery. My way of doing that today was to catch up on my Wishes blocks:

I think maybe tomorrow I’ll go back to work on my Triangle quilt. I did a bad, bad thing and bought 18 more FQs when I was at the quilt shop yesterday. It was my husband’s idea….REALLY! He wants a nice big quilt – not a small throw quilt. At this rate, this thing will be big enough for our King bed! Maybe I can reign him in a little so I’m not sewing this thing together forever!

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).

I saw your March block and did a double-take – It looks just like mine! I’m using the Fat Quarter kit to make my Wishes Quilt and am loving it. You’re doing a great job!
Since we’re both using the kit it’s a good thing our blocks look alike! 😉 I’m happy to be caught up (for now)!

I needed a break from pressing, cutting, sewing, pressing, cutting, and sewing triangles. I’m still working on it, but it will likely be close to king-size, so I’ve given myself a break on the deadline. This one is going to take a bit longer.
