I’m still working on my quilt for Paula’s Triangle Quilt Along, and I promise, I’m making progress!
These 18 rows make the length approximately 99″. It’s a long one!
As you can see, I’m still tinkering with the width. I’ve got to add some triangles to every row – some more than others! 🙂 It will be at least 23 triangles, possibly 25 or 26. We’ll see. I have plenty of triangles to work with!
I have way more triangles than I could possibly use on the top, but I’ll be incorporating them into the back. And making a table runner. And some pillows. And a wallhanging. (OK, I’m not really going to make any of those things, but I seriously have enough to do that, and more!)
Paula’s deadline for finished quilts is May 3, and I’m not going to make that deadline (obviously), but I’m going to keep plugging away until I’m finished. I know I’ve done a little complaining about being sick of the triangles, but I love how this is coming together and I can’t wait to finish it and start using it!
I am loving this so far! I really like your colors and I like that random hexagon. I think you should keep it in the final layout. In fact, that hexagon has inspired me to try a hexagon quilt made from triangles! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Jenny! I’m definitely leaving that hexagon in the final layout. A hexagon quilt made out of triangles is a great idea!
It’s looking good and you are making progress. Keep plugging along and don’t worry about the deadline. Love the colors! I’ve not done a triangle quilt, but it’s been fun watching your process. I think you should at least make a table runner or a mug rug with your left overs! 🙂
Mug rug! I could totally do a mug rug! 🙂
Love your color choices
Thanks!!
Love your fabric choices. That is going to be so pretty when it’s done. I’m using my triangles as leader and enders right now. it’s gonna be a while for me, but seeing this makes me want to switch and just sew all those little guys together.
