My Broken Bullseye blocks for the August do.Good Stitches Promises group.

I’m still building my stash and didn’t have what I wanted for these blocks, so stopped in at Thimbles Quilt Shop in Spooner, WI while ‘up north’ last weekend. What a great little shop! Whenever we hit the road to head someplace new, I always google to see if there’s a quilt shop nearby. Here’s how the conversation went this time:
Me: ‘Hey, there’s a quilt shop in Spooner!’
G: ‘Yup, I already looked.’
Isn’t he great? 🙂

About msminnesota
I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).
This little blog is my way of chronicling my quilting adventures. Occasionally I post about non-quilting things as well.
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to say HI!

Pretty blocks. I like your fabrics.
Thank you!
Your blocks look great! What is it about red and white that’s so fantastic!?!!
I agree with you on the red/white combo. I’m excited to see the finished top with everyone’s contributions.
I do love having an excuse to drop by a quilt shop. Your hubby sounds like a keeper! The blocks look great!
