Here are my A & B Vice Versa BOM blocks:
I decided to have my geese all flying the same direction – I just liked it better this way. I’ve also decided that I don’t love flying geese, but I’m going to keep making them – they’ll get better, right?
Here’s what I’ve got so far…
August and September are cut and waiting for me. I’m just a little nervous about the fact that there are templates for August, but September is going to be easy peasy, so I guess it all balances out!

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).

I’ve enjoyed watching progress in the VV BOM.Yes Flying geese do get easier with practice. Try different methods, and you’ll find one that works for you. Mine finally clicked when I tried the square on the end of the rectangle approach AND drew the diagonal line. Square is the same as the short end of the rectangle. Stitch one thread beyond the drawn line (into the triangle that will be trimmed out). Then trim and make pinwheels or something out of the trianbles.
Hello! The method you described is what I used for my FG. I also have a ruler for them (Wing Clipper) but I haven’t used it yet – maybe I should dig it out!
What great blocks, love they are so bright and cherry! Have not tried flying geese yet!!
