Sunday Stash Blues

I ordered the back and binding for the Trucks quilt this week. The light blue with dark blue flowers is the back, and the dark blue with light blue flowers is the binding.

I pieced the back on Friday so it’s ready for the long arm when we go in March.  I can’t believe that I’ll have 2 finished quilts by the end of March and I only had 2 finished in all of 2014!

I’m personally feeling a little blue. I’ve been battling a cold that turned into bronchitis, and I’m leaving on a jet plane for a week tomorrow morning.  There is nothing worse than flying with sinus issues, and I get to do it!  Wish I had some good drugs, but sadly, I do not!

About msminnesota

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler'). I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!). This little blog is my way of chronicling my quilting adventures. Occasionally I post about non-quilting things as well. Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to say HI! IG: wannabequilter

  1. What beautiful backing and binding! I hope that your travels go more smoothly than you anticipate and that you are healthy and healed soon.

The fabrics look really lovely – nice to know you’ve got another project done! Do hope you travel better than you are anticipating and soon get over the illness.
