DONE!

I’m SO happy with this quilt. From the fabric (Out to Sea by Sarah Jane Studios), to the quilting thread (a shimmery silver/grey) and design (perfect waves), and even the binding (which I managed to get on without too much of a fight), I just absolutely love it!!!

And so does she! This was taken the night I finished it, being used as it’s intended purpose – the way it should be! And the best part was waking her up the next morning, finding her all snuggled under it in her bed. Perfect in many ways!

And with this finish, I’ve officially passed my number of finished in 2014 (this is #3 for this year)!
AmandaJean is back, so I’m linking it up to her Friday Finish post. Welcome back!

About msminnesota
I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).
This little blog is my way of chronicling my quilting adventures. Occasionally I post about non-quilting things as well.
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to say HI!

Lovely quilt!
Dang! That is just adorable! Love your color choices and the quilting is perfect.
Congratulations! It’s lovely.
Oh Julie it’s absolutely stunning! Lucky lucky little girl that gets to snuggle under it, it is as you say the perfect match of fabric, pattern and quilting!
Thank you! It’s my favorite so far, by far!
Perfect snuggle quilt! Love the fleece backing and the expert-looking quilting 🙂 Stripes for borders really work – good choice!
It’s absolutely adorable! I love it when it all comes together, and then it gets the love it deserves. Best reason for making quilts, in my book, is seeing them being used by our littles. Great finish!
Oooo, oooo, oooo! I love it, too I really love it! And you’re so right…perfect on so many levels.
Love this quilt and the back is a gorgeous color for it!
Thanks so much!
