2015 Finish #4!
By the time I finished the binding it was too late to take a picture outside – will try to do that tomorrow. I put it on my bed and it just slightly hangs over the top of my king-sized mattress (it’s 88×88). I’m so happy with how it turned out!
I LOVE the daisies, and the blue thread was a perfect choice.
Turns out that it is the PERFECT size for snuggling with a little someone special under!

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).

What a great finish! Funny how one finish leads to another – you are on a great run! 🙂
Things will definitely be slowing down now that summer is right around the corner. Every weekend is booked from end of May to first part of September, so that makes it hard to get to the longarmer! I’ve got 2 more tops done but it will be a while before I finish them.
Nice with all those ‘distractions’ coming up that you can look back on the finishes with satisfaction.

Did you quilt this or have it done? King size would be a challenge to quilt. Love the aqua and red color combo!
Bernie – I rent time on a long arm machine, so with the assistance of a computer, I do it. I haven’t graduated to quilting anything larger than a mug rug myself just yet! 🙂

The blue thread and daisies are perfect! I love how the trucks take your eyes in diagonal directions. Four finishes this year!! Amazing!
