I made a decent amount of progress on my Wishes quilt tonight – all of the blocks are now sewn into rows. Next step, the sashing. I’m hoping to get it done tomorrow night, and maybe borders on Friday night. I’ve got to get the back pieced rather quickly once the top is done – I’ve got a date with the long arm on Sunday the 20th, and that’s coming up rather quickly! There will be no time to work on it during the evenings next week because of work. Darn work – gets in the way of this quilting stuff!

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. The sashing is Kona Bone, an off-white that best matches the rest of the fabric line. Thank you for stopping by!
This is a great quilt top. I made a ‘turning twenty’ quilt for my daughter and worried the pieces looked too big but the finished quilt looks great over her sofa. I think these simple looking blocks are going to make an eye-catching quilt. Hope you meet the deadline and get some sleep!
Thanks! I wanted something that would allow for bigger pieces of fabric in each blocks and I’m really happy with this. Tonight I hope to get the main part of the top done – and maybe even borders!
