A couple of fabric deliveries this week – one I ordered in May (Sweetwater Varsity quilt kits for The Blue One and The Pink One):
The second delivery of the week was the backings for the above kits (they’re the bottom fabrics above), as well as backing and binding for Holly’s Tree Farm:
And binding for Feed Company:
It was a very Sweetwater week here at our house! Hi, my name is Julie, and I’m addicted to Sweetwater fabric!
Today was a busy and ridiculously productive day – I quilted 3 (THREE!) quilts during my trip to the longarm – Wishes, Astronaut Baby quilt, and the Triple Barn Star. Stay tuned for details and photos!

I'm a wife, mom of two (one blue, one pink), and I work full time. Our family loves to camp, and we're often on mini adventures during the summer. My fall/winter/spring/rainy day hobby is quilting. I started about 10 years ago, then put everything away when The Blue One was born. A few years ago a good friend decided to take up this 'hobby' and I've been back at it ever since. She's my partner in crime (A.K.A. 'the enabler').
I have no aspirations of becoming a quilt designer - I'm just not that good at geometry (I rely on my math major/computer programmer husband to help with piecing backs at times!).

Isn’t it nice to get back in the groove? I think fall is the infusion we all need to bring forth our quilting mojo. Sweetwater does have some very inspiring fabrics for this time of year right now, too.
